Associate Insurance Broker

Besides certifying to a professional’s knowledge in the areas of personal-lines or commercial-lines damage insurance, an Associated Insurance Broker title (A.I.B.) also helps:


• obtain bonuses
• increase job opportunities
• obtain Professional Development Units (PDUs), in particular in the “Insurance technique” category
 

The following prerequisites are necessary to obtain a title as an Associated Insurance Broker:
      1. To hold a damage insurance broker certificate issued by l’Autorité des marchés financiers
      2. To have worked for at least twelve (12) consecutive months as a damage insurance broker 
      3. To have completed the fourteen (14) College level professional courses* required to become a Associate Insurance Broker
