Annotated Code of Ethics

The code of ethics is the cornerstone of professional legislation: it represents the ideal of good conduct and its rules set out the minimal level of acceptable professional practice. The purpose of the ChAD’s annotated Codes of Ethics, which are written in simple language and illustrated with concrete examples, is to make the rules of ethics easier to understand. The Codes are designed to guide ChAD members in their daily work and thus maintain the public’s trust in the integrity and competence of professionals working in the fields of damage insurance and claims adjustment.
