Mission of the Chambre de l'assurance de dommages (ChAD)

The mission of the Chambre de l'assurance de dommages is to ensure the protection of the public in the areas of damage insurance and claims adjustment. The ChAD oversees the mandatory continuing professional education of nearly 14,000 damage insurance agents and brokers, and claims adjusters, and it acts in a preventive capacity, regulating the professional practice of individuals who work in these fields.
