My Compulsory Professional Development

ChAD members have been required to participate in professional development activities since September 1, 2001. It is essential that you comply with this measure; failure to do so will result in the non-renewal of your certificate of practice.

Twenty PDUs Every Two Years
As a professional, one of your obligations is to complete 20 professional development units (PDUs) every two years. Three PDUs must be in professional compliance: a new category created by ChAD.

Members who have earned extra PDUs are permitted to transfer up to five PDUs to end of the following compliance period.
