Professional duties
Agents, brokers and claims adjusters who obtain a certificate from the AMF become members of the ChAD. Similar to a professional body, the ChAD is a self-regulatory organization which supervises the professional practice of its members and sees to it that they honour their professional obligations and that they fulfill their obligations for continuing education.
The ChAD carries out its mission of protecting the public by–among other things–focussing on prevention. The commitment that ChAD professionals will provide consumers with quality services is based on a statutory and ethical framework, and on maintaining good discipline.
